Thank you for your interest in the ruler. The ruler assists you in precisely positioning embroidery and applique designs. This will allow you to place your primary design exactly, then if you have to rehoop for split designs- will allow you to join up to the exact spot. You can see a picture of the 8" ruler and also some blocks to show how you can add designs - I started with the centre and added each of the flowers separately - it comes in 4 sizes to make 4, 6, 8 and 12 inch blocks. It is in two parts. One for the measuring and the other for squaring off. The largest one actually measures 16.5" All of them allow for your 1/4" seam, embroidery shrinkage as it will go out of shape, so you can really square it up nicely to 12.5" 8.5" 6.5 & 4.5"
On the pictures with the hearts there is a double size 27" x 12.5 (the size allowed for 3" for the adjacent blocks sashing). This block was hooped 5 times. The heart floral was hooped 3 times -they are perfectly joined.
These come with full 'step by step' instructions, and I can always guide you. I am basically giving you the small set for free when you order all 4 sets.
The full set of rulers will incur shipping from $12.50 - $20.00 Priority Mail...depending on where you are in the US. Overseas is availavle and a price on request Please understand that package is weighs around 5 pounds. Obviously single rulers will be less.
Please ignore the shipping rates when checking out as this site is not really meant for selling rulers as you can see.... as it has been so difficult to get information to you all, I thought this will be easier.
I hope the pictures help. I will be happy to answer any questions you have.
If you have any further questions, please could you call me on 951 353 0016 as I am flooded with emails regarding the rulers and it is taking me time to wade through them all ! This has taken me by totally by surprise and want to ensure that I get back to everyone who has been so kind to write to me.
Thank you for your support
